This Fuzzy Word
I always hear this word from my art gallery friends, visitors, and clients. They always talk about this, and honestly, I cannot relate. I always wonder what’s with this fuzzy word.

What is HCG?
The HCG or the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is a glycoprotein hormone which is produced during pregnancy. The developing embryo makes this after its conception and then later by the syncytiotrophoblast which is a part of the placenta. In some cases, some tumors also make this type of hormone and the only way to know is if the patient is not pregnant and has high levels of it. If they have those, it can be basis for a cancer diagnosis. There is no proof though or a recent research result that would prove whether or not this is made by the contributing cause or even an effect of tumorigenesis. Since the start of the mid – 20th century, HCG is endorsed even now as a supplement to help in weight loss.
The Function of HCG
The HCG will interact with the Luteinizing Hormone Chorionic Gonadotropin Receptor or LHCG receptor for short and then does the maintenance of the corpus luteum during the start of the pregnancy. It then causes to give out the hormone called progesterone. It will then enrich the uterus with a thick lining of capillaries and blood vessels so that it would sustain the growing fetus but because of the highly – negative charge it emits, the HCG may repel the immune cells of the mom, protecting the fetus in the first trimester. It is theorized that the severity of morning sickness may be linked with HCG in pregnant women. It is somewhat similar to LH and because of that HCG can also be used clinically to make ovulation in the ovaries as well as testosterone production in the testes. There are some organizations that collect the urine from pregnant females to get the HCG because these women are the most abundant biological source for the hormone.
I have an idea (light bulb). Since they are always talking about it in my gallery, why not create an HCG-inspired work of art… not a bad idea!

“Did you ever plan of selling your prized art? How about I market your art works?” I remember these lines from a friend who works in a marketing firm. He explained to me how I will earn some cash while doing the thing I love. I never thought of selling my creations but his words are so captivating. I am not open to his idea that is why I did some exploration about marketing.
Most businesses today run errands and special projects just to increase their customer network. Once these businesses already a have a strong and stable customer network, they will of course have better results when it comes to profits. But what could possibly be the ways that these businesses employ for them to be able to get the results—the increase in customers, that they wanted? My Favorite Pastime
During my leisure time or whenever I have free hours, I spend it with my loved ones. I love to bond with them because it relaxes me and keeps my mind away from my usual job. We normally play a game called corn toss. This is my favorite because I excel in it.

Cornhole or corn toss is quite popular in the Midwest. It should be: the game is very easy to remember and to master. You simply have to toss a bag of corn or beans into a 6-inch hole, and you have to cleanly score a shoot from a distance of 16 feet away. Because of this, it’s ideal for outdoor parties. Whenever you’re having a barbecue with friends and family, or having a few beers in the outdoors, you can put cornhole into the mix and it’s certain to fit in very well. What you get is a fun and memorable day.
Did Cornhole Really Develop From a Children’s Game?
As simple as it seems, you might think that cornhole is a game that is fit only for children. In fact, you are right! Cornhole did develop as a children’s game, although the final product has been devised and perfected by an adult who wanted to give these children a safer experience while still being enjoyable. Cornhole is quite old as well, and has a very rich although heartily debated history.
The most commonly accepted theory is that a German farmer named Mathias Kueperman came up with the idea of cornhole back in the 13th century. He wanted children to enjoy themselves, but he was concerned about their safety. Historians state that Kueperman became alarmed at why children have to use stones to play and, in a bid to help them avoid history, he made the prototype of corn toss into a game using a wooden board and a bag of corn. So, if this piece of corn hole history is proven to be true, then indeed corn hole is a children’s game by heart.

Creative People Hurt Sometimes Too
I have been working as an artist for a very long time. It has required me to travel to a lot of places and has kept me on my feet a lot. My painting style requires that I stand while I paint. Lately, while creating some art I realized that there was a pain in my back. Apparently it’s quite common that a person would suddenly feel body pain all over even if such pain was nonexistent the day before. You can address these easily, but first you have to understand what these are in order to take them on and get rid of them. After my creativity induced problem this is what I learned.
Body pains can be classified, but the most common one among men and women is muscle pain. Muscle pain comes as a result of working our bodies to their maximum endurance. Our muscles can be slightly torn as a result of exertion of force. Constant strain on the muscles are sure to cause muscle pain within 24 hours. This is very common amongst weightlifters. The goal of bodybuilding is to exhaust the muscles long enough for them to become really fatigued, which triggers the body’s autoregeneration capability that enhances muscle strength by adding mass. By constantly weightlifting, the body ultimately gains muscle mass and makes itself bigger and stronger. However, these also causes muscle soreness and pain. In some cases, when the form is executed erroneously, there could be muscles knotted together and that can also cause pain.
It goes to show that, because of their all-around role, our body’s muscles will constantly ache and feel sore because of our everyday activities. That’s what makes muscle pain common to all of us. In addition, we may also sustain misalignments in our skeletal structure due to some events.
